Codxing

Privacy Policy

Last updated 26 September 2026

This policy explains what happens to data when you use Codxing. The honest summary is that almost nothing happens, because the site has no backend and no tracking — but the detail matters, so it is set out in full.

The short version

Codxing does not collect your personal data. There is no account system, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels and no cookies. Files you open in a tool are processed by your own browser and are never sent anywhere.

The longer text below explains the few places where data does exist, because saying "we collect nothing" without qualification would not be accurate.

Files you open in a tool

Codxing is a static website with no backend server. When you drop a PDF, image or video into a tool, the file is read by your browser using standard web APIs, processed on your own device, and the result is handed back to you. The file is never uploaded, because there is no server that could receive it.

You can verify this yourself: open your browser developer tools, switch to the Network tab, and use any tool. No upload request appears.

Data stored in your browser

Two tools save data locally so your work survives a page refresh:

  • Flashcards stores the deck you type, so it is still there when you return.
  • Tasbih Counter stores your current count and completed rounds.

This uses localStorage, which lives on your device and is never transmitted to us or anyone else. It is specific to one browser on one device. Clearing your browsing data removes it, and nobody else can read it.

No cookies are set by this site at all.

Server logs

Codxing is hosted on Vercel. Like every web host, Vercel records standard request logs: your IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser and operating system. This happens for any website you visit and is necessary to serve pages and protect against abuse.

These logs are held by Vercel under their own privacy policy and are retained for a limited period. We do not analyse them, build profiles from them, or combine them with anything else.

Location

The Prayer Times and Qibla Direction tools can use your device location, but only if you press the button and your browser then asks your permission. The coordinates are used to calculate times and bearings in your browser and are not transmitted or stored. You can always type coordinates manually instead and never grant permission.

Third parties

There are none. No analytics provider, no advertising network, no social media widgets, no embedded fonts, no content delivery network for third-party assets. Every file the site loads comes from this domain.

This is unusual enough to be worth stating plainly: visiting this site does not tell any other company that you were here.

Your rights

Regulations such as the GDPR give you the right to access, correct and delete personal data held about you. In practice we hold none, so there is nothing to retrieve or erase. Any data that exists is either in your own browser, where you control it, or in Vercel’s server logs, which are governed by their policy.

If you have a question about any of this, write to contact@codxing.com.

Children

These tools are suitable for general use and no personal data is collected from anyone, of any age.

Changes to this policy

If advertising or analytics are ever added to this site, this policy will be updated before they go live, and the claims above will be corrected rather than quietly left in place. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
