These terms cover your use of the free tools on Codxing. They are deliberately short, because the arrangement is simple: the tools are free, they run on your own device, and you should not treat their output as professional advice.
Using these tools
Codxing provides free online tools at https://codxing.com. You may use them for anything lawful, personal or commercial, without payment, registration or attribution. There is no usage limit.
No warranty
The tools are provided as they are, with no guarantee that they are accurate, available, or fit for any particular purpose. They are built carefully and tested, but software has bugs and browsers differ.
Always keep your original files. A tool that produces a bad result should never be the only copy of anything you care about.
Results are estimates, not advice
Several tools apply published formulas to produce a number. A number is not professional advice, and the following in particular should not be relied on for decisions that matter:
- Health tools (calories, macros, body fat, heart rate, due date) are population estimates, not medical assessments. Speak to a doctor.
- Financial tools (loan, compound interest) ignore fees, taxes and rate changes. Speak to a qualified adviser.
- Prayer times and Hijri dates are calculated, not observed. Follow your local mosque and your country’s announcements.
- The Zakat calculator is arithmetic, not a religious ruling. Schools of fiqh differ on several points. Ask a qualified scholar.
- Readability and citation tools follow common conventions and can be wrong at the edges. Check against your institution’s requirements.
Your files and your content
Anything you open in a tool stays yours. Because files are processed in your browser and never uploaded, we never receive, store or acquire any rights over them.
You are responsible for having the right to use the files you process, and for what you do with the results.
Acceptable use
Do not use these tools to break the law, to infringe someone else’s rights, or to attempt to disrupt the site for other people.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Codxing is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of these tools — including lost or corrupted files, inaccurate results, or decisions made on the basis of them.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Availability
The site is provided free and may change or become unavailable at any time, without notice. Tools may be added, altered or removed.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
