Instagram Hub

Carousels, grid planning, covers and captions — from files on your device.

These tools work on files already on your device. Downloading someone else’s photo, video or profile picture from a link is not possible here — a browser cannot fetch instagram.com from another site, and Instagram requires an authenticated server to serve that media.

About the Instagram Hub

The Instagram Hub covers the preparation work that happens before you post: slicing a wide image into a swipeable carousel, planning how your grid will look before anything goes live, cropping an avatar that survives the circular mask, checking nothing important sits under the story interface, pulling a cover frame out of your own reel, and formatting captions so the line breaks actually survive pasting. Everything works on files already on your device.

Questions

Can I download photos or videos from an Instagram link here?

No, and no client-side tool can. A browser is not allowed to fetch instagram.com from another website — the same-origin policy blocks it — and Instagram serves post media only to authenticated requests. Sites that do this run scraping servers, which breaches Instagram’s terms.

What image size should I use for Instagram?

1080 × 1350 for feed posts (portrait takes the most screen space), 1080 × 1080 for square, and 1080 × 1920 for stories and reels. The Image Resizer in the Social Hub has all of these as presets.

Why do my caption line breaks disappear?

Instagram collapses runs of blank lines when you paste. The Caption Formatter puts an invisible character on each empty line so the spacing survives.

Does the Reel Cover Grabber work with any video?

It uses your browser’s own video decoder, so MP4 (H.264) and WebM always work. HEVC and some MOV files will not decode in Chrome.
