Captions, threads, hashtags, link tags and correctly sized images.

About the Social Hub

The Social Hub handles the mechanical parts of posting: checking a caption against every platform’s character limit at once, cutting a long piece into a numbered thread that fits, resizing an image to the exact dimensions each network expects, tagging links so you can tell which post sent the traffic, and working out your engagement rate properly. The hashtag and posting-time tools use curated reference lists rather than live platform data — no tool without a server can read what is trending right now, and this one says so rather than pretending.

Questions

What are the character limits for each platform?

X allows 280 characters, Instagram captions 2,200 and bios 150, LinkedIn posts 3,000, Threads 500, YouTube titles 100 and descriptions 5,000. The Caption Length Checker measures your text against all of them at once.

Are the hashtag suggestions based on real trending data?

No. They are curated evergreen lists by niche, combined with tags generated from your own keywords. Live trend data needs a platform API, which a client-side site cannot use.

Is the best posting time reliable?

It shows published general-audience averages, not your data. Use it as a starting point, then check your own analytics — a niche audience often peaks somewhere completely different.

How is engagement rate calculated?

Total interactions (likes, comments, shares, saves) divided by followers or reach, times 100. Measuring against reach gives a higher number than against followers, so be clear which one you are quoting.
