PDF Hub
Merge, split, rotate, convert and label PDFs — without uploading them.
About the PDF Hub
Almost every free PDF site works the same way: you upload your document to their server, they process it there, and you download the result — with a daily limit of two files and an upsell waiting at the third. This PDF Hub does the work in your browser instead, using pdf-lib for writing and Mozilla’s pdf.js for reading. Your contract, medical record or passport scan never leaves your device, there is no queue, no file-size ceiling set by a server, and no watermark on anything you produce.
Questions
Are my PDFs really not uploaded?
Correct. Codxing is a static site with no backend — there is no server that could receive a file. You can verify it: open your browser devtools, go to the Network tab, and use any tool. No upload request appears.
Is there a file size limit?
None imposed by us. The limit is your device memory. Documents of a few hundred pages are fine on any modern laptop; very large scanned files may be slow on an old phone.
Can these tools open password-protected PDFs?
No. Encrypted PDFs need to be unlocked in the application that created them first. pdf-lib cannot decrypt, and it cannot add encryption either — so the Watermark tool marks a page visually but does not lock the file.
Why does Extract Text return nothing for my document?
Because it is a scan — a photograph of text rather than text itself. Pulling words out of an image requires OCR, which is not included here.
