Merge PDFs
Combine several PDFs into one, in the order you choose.
About Merge PDFs
Merge PDFs combines any number of PDF files into a single document, in the order you choose. Unlike most online PDF mergers, your files are never uploaded — the merging happens inside your browser using the pdf-lib library, so a confidential contract or a scan of your passport never leaves your computer. There is no file size cap imposed by a server, no daily limit of two free merges, and no watermark on the result.
How to use it
- Drag your PDF files onto the drop zone, or click it to browse. You can add as many as you like.
- Use the ↑ and ↓ buttons beside each file to set the order pages will appear in.
- Click "Merge into one PDF". The combined file downloads immediately.
Questions
Are my PDFs uploaded anywhere?
No. Codxing has no server to upload to. The files are read by your browser, merged in memory on your own machine, and the result is handed straight back to you.
Is there a limit on file size or number of files?
There is no limit set by us. The practical ceiling is your device memory — merging several hundred megabytes at once may be slow on an older phone, but typical documents are instant.
Does merging reduce the quality of the pages?
No. Pages are copied across intact, keeping their original resolution, fonts and vector content. Nothing is re-compressed.
Can I merge a password-protected PDF?
Not currently. Encrypted PDFs must be unlocked in the application that created them first.
Merge PDFs is free and runs entirely in your browser. No account, no upload, no watermark, no limit on use.
