Split / Extract Pages
Pull a page range out into its own PDF.
About Split / Extract Pages
Split / Extract Pages pulls a chosen range of pages out of a PDF into a new document. Useful for sending one chapter instead of a whole book, separating a signed page from a contract, or breaking a scanned batch into individual records. The original file is untouched and never uploaded — the new PDF is assembled in your browser.
How to use it
- Drop in the PDF. The tool reads it and tells you how many pages it has.
- Type the pages you want, like 1-3, 7, 10-12. Ranges and single pages can be mixed.
- Click Extract. The selected pages download as a new PDF in the order listed.
Questions
How do I write the page range?
Comma-separated, with hyphens for ranges: "1-3, 7, 10-12". Pages outside the document are ignored rather than causing an error.
Does it change the original file?
No. The original stays exactly as it was on your device — a new PDF is created from copies of the pages.
Can I split one PDF into many separate files?
Not in one action. Run the tool once per range you want as its own file.
Split / Extract Pages is free and runs entirely in your browser. No account, no upload, no watermark, no limit on use.
