Add Page Numbers
Stamp numbers in the corner or centre of every page.
About Add Page Numbers
Add Page Numbers stamps numbers onto every page in the position and format you choose. Documents assembled from several sources usually arrive with no numbering, which makes them hard to reference in a meeting or a court filing. Numbering can start from any value, so a document that continues from another lines up correctly.
How to use it
- Drop in the PDF.
- Choose a position, a format (1, 1 / 10, or Page 1), a starting number and a font size.
- Click Add page numbers.
Questions
Can I start numbering from something other than 1?
Yes. Set the starting number — useful when a document continues from a previous volume, or when the first few pages are unnumbered front matter.
Will the numbers cover up existing content?
They are drawn in the margin, but a document with content very close to the edge may overlap. Check the result and adjust the position if needed.
Can I remove them again?
Not with this tool — the numbers become part of the page. Keep your original file.
