About Sign PDF
Sign PDF lets you draw your signature with a finger, stylus or mouse and place it anywhere on any page. The drawing is trimmed to its bounds and embedded as a transparent image. It removes the usual print-sign-scan cycle for everyday documents, and because it runs in your browser the contract never passes through anyone else’s server.
How to use it
- Drop in the PDF and draw your signature in the box.
- Choose the page, then use the sliders to size and position it.
- Click Place signature and download the signed file.
Questions
Is this legally binding?
It carries the same weight as a scanned handwritten signature, which is accepted for most everyday agreements in most jurisdictions. It is not a certified digital signature with a cryptographic certificate — anything requiring that needs a qualified e-signature provider.
Can someone copy my signature from the file?
Yes — as with any scanned signature, the image can be extracted. Do not send signed documents to people you do not trust.
Can I sign several pages?
Run the tool again on the downloaded file for each additional page.
